The siren call of vanity has won.

Vanity battled modesty – in my mind. Vanity won. I call this battling of desires, “choice or free will.” But is it really anything more than two desires fighting it out, with a result that seems inevitable? Who knows? Still, vanity’s victory resulted in this page. I like to think that out of 360° of “choices,” perhaps Providence has reserved a few degrees of freedom to me. One can hope.

With apologies, this site is designed for computer screens, not phone screens. That said, it’s all or mostly quite readable on phones.
